How to reach us

This riviera is, according to number of visits, very visited and the reason to this is its excellent connectivity. You can reach Omis and its riviera in every possible way: by car, coach, plane, train or boat.

If you are arriving by car from Zagreb direction, you can take the highway until you reach the exit Dugopolje and drive down to Split (Zagreb – Split 375,5km, around 180 min of driving). From Split it will take you another 25km to get to Omis. You can take the exit Sestanovec from which you have another 22km until Omis. From Rijeka direction you can take the old Adriatic road until Split (Rijeka – Split 413km, approx. 270 min) and then drive to Omis. If however you are arriving from Dubrovnik you should take the old Adriatic road until you reach your destination (Dubrovnik-Omis 183km). Those of you travelling by coach will have no problem reaching the town. Split is very well connected with the rest of Croatia through coach lines (coach station Split), and from the Split coach station there are numerous daily routes towards Omis. You can reach Omis and its riviera with any coach that is driving towards Makarska or Dubrovnik. For those arriving by plane the nearest airport is the one in Split. From the airport to the riviera you can take a taxi, coach or you can rent a car. Coach lines from the airport to the city centre of Split are coordinated with flight schedules. You can use the city coach line 38 that drives next to the airport. It will take you about 45min of driving to reach Omis. Some of the more known airline companies that are landing on the airport are: Air one, Air Berlin, Alitalia, Air France, Austrian Airlines, Croatia Airlines, Czech Airlines, Melev.

Split also has a ferry harbour and those who choose to arrive by boat can easily reach the Omis riviera with a car or coach from there. The Split ferry harbour is also connected with international towns like Ancona and Pescara, and Croatian cities Rijeka, Zadar, Dubrovnik and islands of Hvar, Brac, Korcula, Vis and Lastovo.

Those who prefer travelling with train will also easily, through the railway station in Split, reach Omis. Split is excellently connected with the rest of Croatia so you can take a train from Zagreb, Osijek or Rijeka and then travel further by taxi and get to any settlement on the riviera.
